Weekly or Fortnightly Service
It is almost an impossible task to keep a shared house tidy all the time, as soon as tenants leave a dish in the sink it seems to prompt others to do the same and then before you know it, the whole property becomes a dumping zone. No tenant wants to clear up after a housemate and stranger and why should they?
A regular cleaning service to a House In Multiple Occupation communal areas will keep those areas presentable and hygienic. We will clean all the shared areas your tenants use, such as bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, entrance, stairs, hallway and all other shared areas. By taking on this responsibility and regularly attending the property, we can ensure that cleaning level is maintained whilst encouraging tenants to look after the property. WE WILL also empty all bins. All floors will be left hoovered and mopped thoroughly.
We clean all communal areas giving landlords a peace of mind that the cleaning is being kept on the top of. This is not the only benefit of employing a professional cleaner to take care of your cleaning needs; all cleaning services are fully tax deductible expenses.
When we clean the HMO properties, we also pay attention to any changes in the home and if we identify an issue or fault, we will also notify the landlord or estate agent of the matter in question.
As part of a weekly or fortnightly clean we will clean thoroughly all communal areas, this is to include:
Kitchen & Dining Room
- Wipe clean all kitchen cabinets, doors and plinths
- Wipe clean all kitchen appliances – externally
- Clean sink and taps – removing lime scale and polish where required
- Clean tiles and splashbacks
- Wash and polish all work surfaces, breakfast bars and counter tops
- A thorough vacuum of carpets and hard floors. All hard flooring will not only be vacuum but washed & mopped.
- All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted and wiped clean
- All shelving & accessories to be dusted & wiped clean
- Blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
- All light switches and sockets will be wiped over
- Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work, walls and doors
- All window cills wiped clean
Bathroom
- Thorough cleaning of bath, sink, toilet & shower cubicle
- Shower screen to be cleaned
- Cleaning of sink and taps – removing excess lime scale and polish where required
- Floor to be cleaned, hovered and moped
- Window sill to be wiped down
- Tiles to be cleaned & polished
- All skirting boards & woodwork to be dusted and wiped clean
- Blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
- All light switches and sockets will be wiped over
- Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
Lounge
- Wipe and clean all furniture – externally
- Perform a thorough vacuum under sofas and chairs, removing all cushions and throw pillows in the process.
- Cleaning of mirrors, pictures, shelving & accessories
- All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted & cleaned
- dado rails, blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
- All light switches and sockets will be wiped over
- Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
Hallway and Stairs
- Vacuuming of stairs and hallways
- Mopping of hallways and stairs if applicable
- All skirting boards & wood work to be dusted & wiped clean
- Blinds, radiators & light shades to be dusted and cleaned
- All light switched and sockets will be wiped over
- Excess markings such as fingerprints will also be cleaned off any paint work and walls
